Hall of Fame
Purpose: This award is presented in order to recognize the superior show caliber Classic Old Frill (COF). The member seeking to certify a superior COF by the National Classic Old Frill Club (NCOF) must meet certain specific qualifications. It is the intent of this club to grant this high honor to exceptional Classic Old Frills.
1. The applicant must be a member in good standing in the NCOF for a period of not less than 5 years prior to application.
2. The honor for the Hall of Fame is open to all Classic Old Frills bred and shown by members who accumulate 500 points in NCOF
approved meets.
3. Hall of Fame Points will be awarded only to Classic Old Frills bred and shown by the Hall of Fame applicant.
» The NCOF Point Coordinator will be responsible for tracking qualified points.
» Show reports will be required to verify number of entries, show date, show location, placement of bird
and judge presiding.
» Only birds with proper size bands (9) will be eligible to receive Hall of Fame points.
» No splint band birds will be eligible for Hall of Fame points.
» Only NCOF approved meets will be eligible for Hall of Fame points.
» Eligible meets must have 3 exhibitors to qualify for Hall of Fame points.
» Hall of Fame candidate must place under 5 different judges.
» Hall of Fame candidate must accumulate 500 points in its show life.
4. Points for the Hall of Fame candidates must place in the top 4 positions. Point System as follows:
Champion will receive ………………1 point for each bird beat in show
1st Reserve will receive……………...1 point for each bird beat in show
2nd Reserve will receive…………......1 point for each bird beat in show
3rd Reserve will receive……………...1 point for each bird beat in show
5. Accumulation of points will begin with the 2003 NYBS which was the first official NCOF meet.
6. Upon completion of the accumulated points, the Points Coordinator shall submit copies of all records to the Club Secretary. The Secretary will forward all information to the President, Eastern Vice President and Western Vice President. All four officers will verify the report. If requirements are met Hall of Fame certification will be awarded.
