How to fill out pigeon show entry form:
For people new to the pigeon hobby and showing birds it can take a bit to understand how to best fill out the entry form. It is not that tricky but is helpful to have a little guidance for both the exhibitors as well as the show managers.
The image on this page provides an example on how to fill out a pigeon show entry form.
Breed is pretty straight forward but make sure you check with your club leaders/members as they can help you work through any questions you may have. In the case of the Classic Frill club there are two main parts of the breed being Satinettes and Blondinettes. For the Breed, enter both Classic Frill and either Satinette or Blondinette.
Color is another item that club members can help you with. More information here in the Classic Frill club website on colors can be found here >> Classic Frill Club Website - Recognized Colors & Chart
Age can at first be tricky but it is actually not too bad once it has been explained. How to determine age? YH or Young Hen = is defined as a bird banded (e.g. 2025) the year it was born. YC=Young Cock with O=Old Hen or Cock. Old = is defined as a bird banded/raised the last year or before (e.g. 2024, 2023, 2022, etc.).
